60 Honeybee Colonies Brought To Akron-Canton Airport

Dozens of honeybee colonies are now living at the Akron-Canton Airport.

The bees were brought in partnership with the Hartville Honey Bee Farm and are part of a program designed to help the environment.

The airport says they hope the colonies will help to increase the bee population in surrounding areas and benefit the local ecosystem.

The airport plans to sell honey taken from the hives.
