IT'S FRIDAY SO LET'S SEE IF I CAN scare up a couple things that might keep you entertained this weekend...

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, WILL ROGERS will come up on my radio show.  Among other things, he was a VERY funny man during the "Roaring 20's and into the depression era of the 1930's.  The Actors Summit at Greystone Hall in downtown Akron will present "Will Rogers' America" tonight through October 28th.  If you have yet to see the refurbished hall, that will be half the fun.  For information call 330-374-7568.

NEW MOVIES THIS WEEKEND INCLUDE "Argo", a flick starring Ben Affleck that is a true story concerning the Iranian hostage situation in 1979.  It's getting great reviews.  Another movie that will get a lot of attention from some of my callers and listeners is "Atlas Shrugged Pt 2".

WHILE THIS IS NOT THIS WEEKEND, I should tell you that Jon Huntsman, former Republican presidential candidate will speak at E J Thomas Hall  this Monday at 7:30pm.  Tickets are still available.

FINALLY WE HAVE MANY HAUNTED HOUSES happening for children of all ages.  The traditional favorites are up and running all over greater Akron.  Tadmore Shrine Temple in Coventry and Boo at The Akron Zoo on Saturday and Sunday thru Halloween are perfect for younger children.  The Haunted Schoolhouse is back for another year on Triplett Blvd. near the Akron Airport, and back this year are spooky goings on at the old O.C. Barber farm on Robinson Ave in Barberton.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND join me Monday morning at 9am on 640 WHLO.  Jim
