LAST NIGHTS DEBATE WAS MUCH more entertaining than the one 2 weeks ago. I'm not too sure about a winner (I think it was a draw) but it was fun to watch both candidates go back and forth. While it was fun watching, I really don't believe these two dislike one another, but both MUST have tough hides. It's just the nature of politics. I'm not really sure many minds were changed last night, but it should be interesting to look at the polls as they come out in the next week or so. By the way, the third and final debate is next week. Finally, the whole silly season will be over three weeks from today. Be still my heart.
SHAME ON ME, I watched ALMOST all of last nights debate. You see, the Tigers and Yankees were playing playoff baseball last night...and the Yankees lost for the third game in a row (one more Detroit win and New York is toast). Trust me, watching the New York Yankees LOSE is just as patriotic as watching a couple politicians jaw at one another.
WE HAD A LIGHTHEARTED BUT interesting topic on todays show. If Republicans and Democrats are both praying for their candidate, how does God decide who to pick for president...a Morman or a Christian (and BOTH vice presidential candidates are Catholic). It ain't easy being God!!
WE CONTINUE OUR "Ultimate Racing Weekend" contest every morning. If your the correct texter you win $1000. Then your name is put in the drawing for the trip to Miami for the Ford Championship. Good Luck! Talk to you in the morning at 9 on 640 WHLO. Jim
