CAN YOU BELIEVE ONLY TWO WEEKS left in the regular high school football season.  Ouch, that means snow is right around the corner.  For those of you who went to school in Akron, I'll bet you remember the City Series playoff double headers at the Rubber Bowl.  The two winners then went on to play on Turkey Day (Thanksgiving).  Among other things, I remember freezing my butt off for those Friday night playoff games.  Memories.....

LET ME TAKE ANOTHER SHOT AT predicting winners for this weekend.  Previous weeks confirm that I have no idea what I'm talking about...

Ellet vs Garfield @ Infocision Stadium...The Golden Rams just aren't what they used to be, and the Orangemen are having a very good year.  Ellet all the way.

Green at Copley...One of two GREAT games this weekend in the Suburban League.  Green is FOR REAL while the Indians have been somewhat disappointing, although both have 5-3 records.  So I'll pick Green in a nail-biter.

Wadsworth at Tallmadge...Probably the best game of the week.  Who will win?  I don't have a clue, but I'll go with the Blue Devils because it's their home game.

Mogadore at Southeast...Two great teams, but Mogadore is loaded.  The Wildcats will win. but it'll be close.

Kent Roosevelt at Norton...Norton is having one of their better seasons, but Roosevelt is one of the top teams in the area this year.  Rough Riders win easy.

St. Vincent-St. Mary at Massillon...It's never easy in Tigertown, but the Irish should bring home a victory.

East at Barberton...These teams have a combined record of 1-15, but somebody has to win and I think it will be the Magics.

HAVE A GREAT DAY AND JOIN ME Friday morning at 9am on 640 WHLO.  Jim
