HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! 

SOME OF THE PICTURES I'M SEEING FROM all over the eastern US are amazing.  A friend who lives in New York City e-mailed some pics that I couldn't believe.  His summer home on the Jersey shore is GONE.  His place in New York City (on the 9th floor) escaped with no damage (water or otherwise).  He and his wife even have power (never lost it).  Another friend, who grew up in Belmar, New Jersey, learned through old friends that the home she grew up in is also gone.  Both of these places were a couple blocks from the shore.

THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS OPENED THEIR regular season at the "Q" last night and came up winners against the Washington Wizards.  The Cavs have some good young talent (especially in the back court).  Is it enough to make the playoffs this year?  Maybe, if they stay free of injuries.  A sidebar to last nights opener...owner Dan Gilbert acknowledged his tirade toward LeBron James the night of the "decision" was not one of his finest hours.  His prediction that the Cavs would win a championship before LeBron was...well...wrong.  He said that's the end of it, and lets move on.  OhTay Panky!
