THIS FRIDAY IS A BIG DAY FOR 640 WHLO and those of you looking to "do good" for your neighbors in the Akron/Canton area.  It's our annual "Long Haul Against Hunger" in the parking lot of the Plaza At Chapel Hill.  The Akron/Canton Regional Foodbank will be collecting non perishable food items and cold hard cash all day this Friday from 6am to 7pm.  We have a huge tractor trailor to fill, and we can't do it without your help.  All day Friday, just stop by in the parking lot and someone will be there to unload your donation.  So get with your family and friends and lets get into the Christmas spirit.  As you know, we still have many in our own neighborhoods who are hurting because the economy is still awful.  I will also broadcast the 9-noon show live from the Plaza, so when you DO stop by, honk your horn or better yet stop by the broadcast site and say Hello!  My first "Long Haul" was last year and I couldn't believe how many people showed up and donated.  I'll be looking for you...so BE THERE or BE SQUARE!!!
