AS I MENTIONED BRIEFLY TODAY, the 112 people who perished in that factory fire last Saturday in Bangladesh had been LOCKED IN the building! WHILE WISCONSIN VOTERS DECIDED LONG AGO to keep Scott Walker as their governor, a group of singing protesters gather every weekday at noon at the state capitol building to needle the gov for his collective bargaining law. At high noon the group begins to sing songs like..."Hit the road Scott and don't come back no more" and the like. As you might expect, some of the people who work at the capitol building are quite pleased with this entertainment, while others...not so much. Democratic state Senator Robert Jauch calls the daily sing along "the sweet sound of democracy". Republican state Representativen Stephen Nass is very upset that the group is disrupting visitors and school groups and says this has nothing to do with "free speech".
