AS I MENTIONED BRIEFLY ON TODAY'S PROGRAM, the City of Akron plans to construct a mile long sewer pipe. Why, you asked? Because the EPA says they must. Actually I should say WE must. As you may be aware Akron and many of it's suburbs have a combined sewer system (built over 100 years ago). That means raw sewage after big rain storms. Sooooo, we'll spend $200 million to build a mile long tunnel 150 feet below ground that will store up to 25 million gallons of stormwater and raw sewage. Now you know.
SO THE CLEVELAND BROWNS HAVE HIRED A new head coach. Toledo native Rob Chudzinski was hired yesterday. This came as a surprise to most fans. He's had no head coaching experience in the NFL, but has many assistant stops on his resume (including two stints with the Browns). Go Browns!
ENJOY THE WARMTH THIS WEEKEND AND we'll talk at 9am on Monday on 640 WHLO. Jim
