WE HAD A VERY BUSY SWITCHBOARD on today's show and I missed a lot of crazy stories, so I'll share them with you here...

YOU"LL NEVER GUESS IN A MILLION years who's running for political office in South Carolina (AS A REPUBLICAN)!!!  Teddy Turner!!  Who???  Yea, you don't know him but you know his father...TED!  He'll be running against noted family man Mark Sanford (also a Republican).  This congressional race also involves the sister of TV star Stephen Colbert.  She is running as a Democrat.

CONGRESSIONAL REP RUSH HOLT (yes you read that right...Rush) is seeking to commemorate the birthday of noted naturalist Charles Darwin.  The Democrat wants to note his 214th birthday by proclaiming February 12 as "Darwin Day".  Of course there are some Republicans who think this is a bad idea.  Last year when a similar push was underway, Congressman Paul Broun of Georgia said "the scientific principles of evolution and the big bang are lies straight from the pit of hell".

ARE YOU CURIOUS ABOUT WHO might give Hillary Clinton a problem in her supposed run for the Democratic presidential nomination in four years?  Vice President Joe Biden!  A recent poll however says Joe trails Hillary by 19 points among Democrats.  Just thought you would like to know.

CAN'T SAY THIS IS TRUE, BUT according to "Inside Edition" first lady Michelle Obama rolled her eyes at John Boehner and the president last Monday when Boehner asked the prez if he had a chance to smoke before their luncheon.  How does "Inside Edition" know this?  Well they hired a lip reader...of course.
