IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEWS, you know that even the best of neighborhoods are sometimes victimized by crime.  The latest is Sagamore Hills.  While I'm never the first with anything like this, a friend suggested that you keep your spare set of car keys on your bedside table.  Why?  Well if you hear noises in your house in the middle of the night, before you grab your Glock and go hunting, simply hit the alarm on your keychain.  Unless your car is parked blocks away, the noise may scare the crook and send him on his way.  I'm just saying.

WE ALSO DISCUSSED ART MODELL and the football Hall of Fame.  The new class will be announced next week following The Super Bowl, and Art is on the list.  Feelings were mixed among our callers, but I have strong feelings on this issue.  ART MODELL DOES NOT BELONG IN THE PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME!!!!  You probably won't believe this, but it has nothing to do with his moving the Browns to Baltimore.  When you look at the time Modell spent in the NFL, what were his accomplishments?  Was it a real hall of fame career, or was he just another big time sports owner who had a very expensive toy.  He was also given credit for promoting the NFL on network TV and creating Monday Night Football.  Good ideas, but hardly hall of fame credentials.  Just saying again.
