I HAD MUCH FUN TALKING CARS on today's show...and apparently so did a number of listeners.  We asked callers to tell us about their first and their favorite car ever.  We heard everything from a Maxwell to a Shelby and everything in between.  One thing I find interesting...people (mostly guys) over 30 have a soft spot in their hearts for motor vehicles.  Guys under 30...not so much.  Hmmmmmm.  Wonder what that means?

FOR MY LISTENERS IN STARK County, this Friday is "First Friday" downtown.  This months celebration has a Valentines Day theme.  It's a lot of fun, the first Friday of every month, right after work in beautiful downtown Canton.

I HAVE TO ADMIT, I'VE HEARD WAY WAY WAY to much about guns lately, but I found a rather odd story on line yesterday.  A 22 year old man from Charlottsville, Virginia entered a Kroger store carrying an AR-15 rifle.  He broke no laws (this is quite legal in Virginia) but I must admit, if I'm at Acme and some dude walks in with a gun of any sort...I'm outta there!  By the way, when a police Lt. was asked why the young man brought the gun shopping with him, the Lt. replied "It was most likely a demonstration of his 2nd Amendment rights.  Well OK then.

ANOTHER SIGN OF THE END OF time...Taco Bell has pulled a TV advertisment that made fun of vegetables.  Why?  The Center for Science in the Public Interest said that vegetables are good for you and the Taco Bell ad would cause people to stop eating them.  Stop the world, I want to get off.

IF YOU ARE A KENT STATE BASKETBALL fan, we've got the Flashes game tonight at 8pm on 640 WHLO.  Kent visits Northern Illinois.  While KSU doesn't seem to be as awsome this year, they very well could pick up a road victory tonight.  Northern is having another BAD year.  Meanwhile the Akron Zips play at Bowling Green tonight and will shoot for their 12th victory in a row.  You can hear that game on FoxSports 1350 at 7pm.

TALK TO YOU IN THE MORNING at 9am on 640 WHLO.  Jim
