WATCHED THE BIG GAME (well most of it) last night and can't say I was surprised the Ravens won (although I predicted the 49ers would). Generally the hype before the game is always bigger and better than the game itself. Last night was no exception until the lights went out. Maybe this is something the NFL should do every year. After the power outage it was one of the greatest games ever. The mayor of New Orleans was interviewed this morning on a New Orleans radio station and he said people were leaving the Superdome in droves before the outage. After things went back to normal...people were glued to their seats. Apparently some people think NO should not get the big game again because "they couldn't even keep the lights on". Ho hum.
SAW A STORY IN THE CANTON Repository today concerning home values...as in "My home isn't worth what Stark County says it is". Guess what, almost 70% of those who believed that were right. However, before you get too excited, you need to know that while 70% had their values changed, some had their values RAISED. Roughly half had their values lowered. Oh well.
