THE FOURTH AND FINAL OHIO CASINO IS opening today in Cincinnati. As you may be aware, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo have already opened there gambling palaces'. The officials in Indiana are doing a slow burn as Ohioans will no longer go to the Hoosier state to gamble away their retirement funds. Neighboring Kentucky STILL does not have casino gambling so officials there are continuing to push for legalized Las Vegas style fun. While I'm not all that sure that casino gambling is the answer to Ohio's financial problems, it is interesting to see other states worry about Ohio for a change. Anyone who has traveled to West Virginia, Pennsylvania or Michigan to play the slots and table games knows there are more Ohio plates on cars in the parking lots than anywhere else. For those of you who go to the Ohio casinos (Horshoe in Cleveland, etc) thanks. According to Ohio authorities, the 3 casinos brought in $133.2 for Ohio schools and Ohio's cities, counties and small towns.
