I GENERALLY ENTER THE STUDIO WITH GOBS of news from various sources, and I've got a few stories I didn't get to on todays show, soooooooo............
THEIR IS AN ONLINE ADVERTISING COMPANY by the name of Chitika that released a study claiming that the smartest and richest people in the USA use Google as their main search engine. You say you don't use Google, well then, when advertisers want to reach lower-income folks or younger people they use Bing or Yahoo! Now you know.
TED CRUZ, THE DARLING OF THE TEA PARTY HAS renounced his Canadian citizenship. The Texas senator was born in Canada to an American mother. If this isn't clearing the decks for a run at the presidency, I don't know what is. Apparently he has been a legal citizen of both countries up to this point and will not be banned from a run for the top office in the land. Attorneys say there will be no "birther" attacks because this is all legal.
APPARENTLY THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, looked like pin cushion when he was nabbed by authorities. According to a trauma surgeon who testified on the case, the bomber had several severe gunshot wounds, including one that entered the left side of his mouth and exited through the lower left side of his face. Some believe this may have been a self-inflicted wound. Either way, it's a miracle this guy was alive when authorities found him in that boat.
ONE OF THE MOST ENTERTAINING PEOPLE IN politics today has said that Republicans will need the "perfect" candidate to beat Hillary Clinton in the next presidential election. He added that if nobody is going to do it right, he might have to jump in the race in order to get the job done. Who is this amazing man? Donald Trump! All right then....
I WON'T SPOIL THE STORY HERE, BUT OUR BELOVED congressmen are at it again. I'll let you know what this is all about on Wednesday's show. It will make your blood boil!
JANE FONDA IS PORTRAYING NANCY REAGAN IN THE hit movie 'The Butler'. This has upset many veterans who remember her protesting the Vietnam War by going to North Vietnam and being photographed sitting on an anti-aircraft battery. Many vets feel she should not be portraying such an honorable conservative. What does Nancy Reagan think? Fonda reports that Reagan has no problem with her playing the roll. By the way, this is an outstanding movie, especially if you're a history buff.
